The PWSA Scholarship Foundation is an important part of our Association. Scholarships are normally based on the amount of interest we receive each year from the funds we have in the scholarship account. Each year we attempt to provide three scholarships of approximately $1,000.00 each to deserving players who submit applications before August 15th of the current year.

We greatly appreciate all those who have contributed to the PWSA Scholarship Fund this past year, including PWSA member teams and Associations; Business and private donations; in-memoriam; and the Residence and Conference Centres.

We cannot thank you enough for your continued interest and support toward helping us with this worthwhile program to assist PWSA athletes with their education. THANK YOU!

RESIDENCE & CONFERENCE CENTRES 

Dear PWSA Membership,

Need a place to stay while traveling to tournaments and events this summer? Whether you are traveling for PWSA related activities or just traveling with your friends and family, Residence & Conference Centres – Canada would love to accommodate you and your family this summer.

Once again for 2008, Residence & Conference Centres has pledged to work in partnership not only with the provincial body, but also with local member associations.

Any local association hosting a sanctioned PWSA tournament and using a Residence & Conference Centre property as their host accommodation with receive a $5.00 per suite, per night commission to offset some of the costs incurred when hosting a tournament. Additionally Residence & Conference Centres will continue to support the Provincial Scholarship Fund which we have contributed over $25,000 dollars too over the years.

Each Residence & Conference Centre property offers all suite style air-conditioned facilities. The majority featuring our signature style suite, containing two separate bedrooms (each with a double bed, desk, dresser, cable television and telephone service with free local calls), a kitchenette complete with microwave and refrigerator, and a private three-piece bathroom.

Furthermore, all properties offer lounges/game rooms of various sizes, on-site laundry and kitchen facilities, full housekeeping and linen service, and a complementary continental breakfast served each morning. Additional food service and meeting facilities can also be arranged and coordinated.
