TORONTO, ON - Softball Ontario has extended the deadline to apply to become a
Certified Softball Administrator Program (CSAP) Learning Facilitator for
Softball Ontario until Friday, May 18, 2012. Softball Ontario is currently
seeking applications for Learning Facilitators for Softball Ontario's Certified
Softball Administrator Program (CSAP) Workshops. The CSAP Learning
Facilitator Training Weekend will take place
June 2-3, 2012 in
Toronto, ON.
Participants in the CSAP Learning Facilitator Training Weekend will train to
facilitate the following workshops:

Marketing & Promoting Your Association 101
-
Generating Revenue: Sponsorship
-
Generating Revenue: Fundraising
-
Generating Revenue: Grants
-
Association Management: Learning About Your
Community
-
Conflict Management
-
Risk Management
-
Special Event Management: Slo-Pitch
-
Special Event Management: Fast Pitch
-
Web Site Management 101
-
Social Media 101
-
Financial Management
-
Volunteer Management
After the Training Weekend is complete, new CSAP Learning Facilitators will be
assigned a Mentor to work with at their first CSAP Workshops to ensure that they
are comfortable with the content. Softball Ontario CSAP Learning
Facilitators receive both mileage and an honorarium for each Workshop they are
assigned to facilitate.

on May 18, 2012. Successful applicants should have:

Strong communication
skills - listening & understanding, speaking and writing

Leadership capability
-
Strong relationship
building capability
-
Working knowledge of
the sport of softball

Strong organization
skills
Experience as a volunteer on a softball association Board of Directors or
Executive Committee is an asset, but not required. The ideal candidate will
have previously attended at least one (1) CSAP Workshop prior to participating
in the CSAP Learning Facilitators Training Weekend.

candidates should provide a short resume of their softball background and any
previous experience that may help as a Learning Facilitator.
Softball Ontario is the governing body for the sport of softball in Ontario.
