If you would like to put in a bid to host a P.W.S.A.
Qualifier or Grand Championship, please see the steps below:
- Please send an email to the P.W.S.A. secretary at
mallen@mergetel.com and request a copy of the bid form.
- Be sure to include a mailing address, as this is a three-part form
and cannot be found on the website.
- When filling out the form, please be sure to include the cost to
the P.W.S.A. for this tournament. The P.W.S.A. will, if required, pay up to a
maximum of $500.00 to the host to assist in covering costs for the diamonds for
the tournament. Please note that a receipt from the City/Town is required for
the cost of the diamonds.
- Number of diamonds, with proper fencing, required to host:
- U10 - three (3) diamonds, at least one (1) with lights
- U12 - four (4) diamonds, all with lights
- U14 - eight (8) diamonds, all with lights for Friday, and six (6) diamonds, all with lights for Saturday, and three diamonds (with lights) for Sunday
- U16 - (Tier I) - two (2) diamonds, both with lights
- U16 - (Tier II) - two (2) diamonds, both with lights
- U18 - (Tier I) – four (4) diamonds, all with lights
- U18 - (Tier II) – two (2) diamonds, both with lights
- U21 - two (2) diamonds, both with lights
- Intermediate I - two (2) diamonds, both with lights
- Intermediate II - two (2) diamonds, both with lights
- Senior - two (2) diamonds, both with lights
Note: Please be aware that due to the potential size of some of the
tournaments, the host may be asked for diamond time during the day on Friday.

Once you have completed the form, please return all three copies to the
secretary, who will then review it with the Bid Committee. Once approved,
the secretary will then ask for the P.W.S.A. Board of Directors’ approval.

Notification will be sent in January to the successful hosts.
Approximately one week after the tournament sites have been awarded,
notification will be placed on the P.W.S.A. website.
