Competing With Another Team:
A player does not require a “letter of permission” from her home team to participate in try-outs, skills camps or talent ID camps. An affiliated player must obtain written permission from her team manager prior to competing with any other team in league, exhibition or tournament play. (Exception – National Competitions – Canadian and Eastern Canadians, High School, College or University) Failure to obtain such permission shall result in suspension of such player for a period as determined by the Discipline Committee. Any team manager or coach using a player from another team without receiving and filing written permission from her team manager or coach, with the player’s Co-ordinator, will be automatically suspended. A player may only compete on the team she is affiliated with in the Association play-off tournaments.

All signed players on all teams registered with the Association must have competed in at least three (3) league or tournament games with the team they are signing with in order to be eligible to compete in the Association play-offs.
Exception: When a player is unable to complete in at least (3) three games, due to participation with a National team.
If a team is not part of a league, then all players must have competed in at least three (3) games with that team and the player(s) may not be part of any league. This does not preclude representative teams taken from a minor softball association house league program from Mite through Bantam or Masters Divisions.

Play-off Arrangement:
Qualifying and Grand Championship Tournaments shall normally be on a double elimination basis. Midget, Bantam and Novice Divisions leading to National Canadians will employ pool play qualifications followed by a Championship round.
Where there is a lack of entries or an excess of entries, the Board of Directors shall be empowered to schedule a round-robin or other special play-off arrangement. Dates for all tournaments shall be decided by the Board of Directors based on the applications received.

(f) Using a player who is not eligible to play on that team
(g) Fighting with other coaches, managers, players, officials or spectators
(h) Verbal abuse, harassment of any official, player or spectator

Notices
(a) The president or delegate will notify the individual alleged to have committed a major infraction within thirty (30) days as well as providing a copy of the incident report.
(b) The individual being disciplined will be given ten (10) days of written notice of the date, time and place of their hearing.
(c) The decision of the Discipline committee shall be communicated in writing to the individual(s) affected.
(d) An appeal shall be filed within seven (7) days from the date the notice of decision was received. Appeal MUST be in writing to the President.
(e) A copy of the Association’s Appeal policy shall be provided to the individual filing the appeal.
