Attention:   This is now approved by Softball Canada

These products keep composite bats warm so the bats do not crack when in colder temperatures. The bat warmer does not alter the characteristics of a composite bat and now is approved by Softball Canada. One of the brand names is Pyro-Flite Microwavable Bat Warmer.

ASA has done testing and the warmer has no affect on the bat. Bats placed on top of dugouts in the sun get hotter than the bat warmer. The warmer helps the composite bat maintain a temperature that gives the bat it optimum performance level. Below is a picture of the Pyro Flite Microwavable Bat warmer.
