PWSA announces our House League Select Championship Fastpitch Tournaments which will be held simultaneously on the weekend of August 20-21, 2011. We’ve listened to our teams, made their suggested changes and we are looking forward to another highly successful year.

Teams from Mite through Midget can be admitted to their appropriate tournament following certain eligibility requirements which are changing this year.

Each team is guaranteed three games, one of which will be played on Sunday, making this a true weekend tournament. According to our players, they love to have a weekend away, play a little ball, make new friends, re-establish old friendships and have a lot of fun.

The deadline for registering your team is midnight, July 24th, 2011 to your respective divisional coordinator (see below) to reserve your spot in the tournament. All documents, including proof of insurance, registration form and waiver/sign-in must be submitted in hard-copy format, along with the $340 fee. The waiver is an excel spreadsheet (8.5 x 14, legal) which can be filled in with all the applicable information, and then printed for signature purposes. The waiver must be signed by all participants, including players and coaches. In addition, each minor player, not yet 18, must have a parent or guardian sign the form.

PWSA is accepting a maximum of 12 teams for each tournament on a first come/first served basis, which will guarantee 3 games plus a playoff game for the top two teams in each “pool” of four teams. Everyone will play on Sunday so you should plan on accommodations in the area. Information about accommodations, restaurants, maps, and draws can be found under the tabs Competition, then Championships, then House League, then Division when available.

The following forms plus the entrance fee and your proof of insurance must be in the hands of the Divisional Coordinator (see below) by midnight July 24th, 2011 to reserve a place in each tournament.

If anything is missing from the package on the deadline date, your team will NOT be accepted into the tournament, so get your forms in early.
