Ontario Intercollegiate Women's Fastpitch Association
The objectives of the OIWFA are: (1.) To give women who are attending an Ontario University an opportunity to play fastpitch. (2.) To foster new friends and give new experiences to the women/student athlete of each team by introducing them to other universities, to players from the other universities, and to foster respect and admiration for their fellow competitors. (3.) To use Fastpitch Softball as a vehicle to help promote their University within their community. (4.) To help promote Women’s Fastpitch Softball.
4th Annual P.W.S.A. High School Classic
2013 PWSA High School Classic Schedule
The High School Championship will be held Monday, May 27, 2013 at Duggan Park in Brampton.
There will be two divisions – Competitive and Modified Pitching. The cost is $150 per team.
Two (only) neighboring schools may apply to partner and enter as one team. The P.W.S.A. will consider the application and authorize on a case-by-case basis. This will be a pilot project for 2013.
Depending on registration numbers, it will be a round robin tournament leading to Championship and Bronze Medal games. Again this year, there will be Individual Skills Competitions.

P.W.S.A. High School Classic
Each year the Provincial Women’s Softball Association hosts a high school tournament for fastpitch teams across Ontario. This past May was our 3rd Annual tournament which hosted 5 teams at the Fairgrounds in Brampton, Ontario. Bill Crothers Secondary School emerged as our 2012 Champions. Congratulations to Bill Crothers for their title, Mayfield Secondary School for their 2nd place finish, and Cardinal Leger for their bronze medal accomplishment.
The 2013 P.W.S.A High School Classic will be held in Brampton on Monday, May 27th, 2013. Please check our website and Facebook site for more details!
Special thanks go out to the Brampton Girls Softball Association for donating the diamonds for the tournament, Danny Wright, Seneca College, all our umpires, and the P.W.S.A Executive members in attendance, especially Jennifer Chadwick for chairing and organizing the event for the last three years.
